Need feedback regarding noise
After my third attempt, I was rejected for background noise. Although I figured out other major issues, like a boxy sound and reverb, I seriously cannot figure out the noise. I turned my gain way down my space is good. There must be noise from something. I even moved my Mac Pro away from the mic and moved my Scarlet away from my computer and mic. The feedback said the audio sounded wobbly. I cannot hear that with my untrained ear. Does anyone have feedback, ideas or suggestions on this noise problem?

Hi Melissa
Can you share the rejected recording with us? Can you also let us know which equipment you're using? The noise could be coming from several sources so it would be interesting to listen to the recording to identify where it could be coming from.
Hi Angela,
So sorry, I can't even believe I left the link out! Here it is:

Hi Melissa
I believe the noise is coming from a piece of equipment. Do you, by any chance, have another microphone you can try? Also, I believe the file is a little too strong so the extra gain could be causing more hiss. I suggest you reset your gain and start adding more gain little by little. You may want to stop once you realize the voice is coming up clean and with good levels. There's no need for it to be too strong as you can always turn the volume up in your DAW!
Let's try that!
