    Hi,

My profile has been deactivated as some samples were said to be of too low quality.

Please find a link to a recent sample using my latest recording set-up.

I am recording in an isolated booth using a Nuemann TLM102 mic, Focusrite Saffire Pro24 interface to an iMac and editing on Adobe Audition.

Please could you let me know if this is enough to reactivate my profile.

    Many thanks,

    Andy

    Hi Andy,

    That's a sweet little mic you've got!

I've listened to your sample and reactivated your account. Make sure to keep your samples up to date to avoid this issue in the future.

    Cheers,

    -Seb

    Hi Andy!

I would definitely say that you should record farther away from the mic and with less gain. The recording sounds very boomy which is usually caused by recording too near to the mic's capsule! The TLM102 is very sensitive, so it's prone to picking up all the frequencies much stronger than others.

Please make sure you take this into account and update your samples!
