Not sure how to get back in the flow, have I been deactivated?
Hi,
Having recently completed my biggest VO project and getting praise and encouragement for it, I decided to upload some more samples, 12 of the 48 I uploaded were rejected.
I was actually getting very excited at the prospect of getting into doing audiobooks and making a real profession of this.
Ever since then I have had one contest entry, but not a peep since then.
I was emailed to let me know why I am no longer being put forward for any work, i.e. bad stats, not winning contests etc.
What I'd like to know is whether over time I will be reconsidered for more work or if the algorithm that governs whether I am worthy has made a final decision?
Thanks,
Phil.

Hello?
Hi Phil
Thank you for sharing your concern. I apologize for the delay in replying. Monday was a holiday for us so our response got a bit delayed because of this.
You will still be considered for contest and speedy projects, however, it is important to note that you will see fewer invitations than before due to the stats that you have. You will have the chance to improve your stats so it's important for you to be very clever when taking care of the invitations you're sent. As we have so many Pros, being very clever when choosing which project you participate in is very important. Participating in everything can be counterproductive as your voice may not be the best fit for every brief. For this reason, we highly suggest you check the briefs + scripts before accepting to participate in it. This may result in sending less auditions, but will surely ensure a higher success rate which is what, ultimately, matters the most!
Also, keep in mind that contest and speedy projects only represent around 10% of our total project count. The other 90% is actually Bookings. We're always open to help you ensure your quality is up to our standards and to give you feedback and tips so your samples are as good as possible always. You can share your settings and rejected recordings here and we will be glad to give you feedback.
