Hopeful re-instatement on Voicebunny - for the attention of Angela Serrano

    Hi Claire

Thanks for sharing the audio. The recording has a high level of room echo. It does sound much better, but the room echo is still quite present and it also has some hiss noise but I believe it's coming from the space, too.

I suggest you review how your space is treated and change your microphone technique. Keep in mind that any reflective material you have nearby (i.e. transparent plastic, plywood, glass, etc.) should be covered to avoid reflections.

    Hope this helps!

    Hey Claire,

The audio also sounds heavily compressed. Compression often brings out room ambience even more. Make sure to back off a little in terms of compressor/processing.

Also, at what distance are you recording from the mic? This is also another factor that can influence the amount of echo.

    -Seb
