Concerning the mass sample review by VB
Heya! :)
So VB is conducting a mass sample review, which is a great move! As you guys are wading through my ...many samples (Sorry! D:) I've had a few dozen rejected by the QC specialists. As they should be! Most are from several years ago when my quality was a little less great, or were accidentally categorized incorrectly, had pops, clicks, etc.
In the notification email, however, it says I should remove the rejected sample from my portfolio ASAP. So, today, I decided to ctrl+f the project names to find the samples on my page because it would be ridiculous to try and find them by reading each sample header individually. But, after searching for about 20 of the names of the projects with rejected samples (since I can't search my page by sample number), I was only able to find 1 of the samples in question. None of the others were displayed on my page.
So my question is: Are the rejected samples being deleted by VB QC as they filter through them? Or were some of them not made into samples to begin with, and as the QC team is cleaning up old unapproved projects, they're automatically discarded along with the approval of each old project?
I hope my question made sense. I'm just trying to figure out how to remove a sample I can't find, or if I don't need to worry about it. :)
Thanks!

Hi Katie!
I'm really sorry I didn't respond to you before. I had a minor accident and had to spend several days at the hospital and took some days off. I'm now back and taking care of all the pending requests we have. Again, sorry for the delay!
In your case what happens is that you have a lot of samples. Our system will show 100 samples on your main page to reduce the chances of overloading or even crashing. As samples are audio files, if we show all of your samples in the main page, it will take forever to load. We also built the samples page to show a maximum of 100 when we first created it because we didn't foresee that we would have users who would have more than 100 samples. Needless to say, we were wrong! We're now currently working on adding a pagination to this page as well as other useful information that should help you understand better how your samples are performing.
To remove them, a good trick is to go to the purpose of the sample. More likely, you don't have +100 samples no the purpose and finding it will be easy. If you want, I can share the samples + the rejected samples you have so you can find them!
Let me know!
D: Oh my goodness! It's no problem, no rush, really! I'm so sorry to hear about your accident! You say it's minor but that you also spent several days in the hospital so I really hope everything is alright <3 <3
And that makes sense, filtering by purpose before doing a ctrl+f search of the name of the project.
If it's not too much work (like, if you already have a pre-made page of my accepted vs rejected samples), I'd love to have access to that list so I can clean out my sample page! :) But if you'd have to do it all manually, then I'd just as soon do it myself and save you the step! :) I have access to all the email notifications, so I can just sort through them one by one.
And yeah, I have a lot of samples. >.< I actually *do* want to clean/pare them down, but I'm always so scared someone has favorited me on them, so it's a little worrisome to delete them. Having the extra info on how they're performing would be fabulous! I'm super excited to see that roll out! :)
Take it easy! VB would be lost without you! <3
Thank you, Katie <3 Your words always cheer me up so much! I'm much better, really :) It was really just a dumb accident hehehe
I'll share a list of the rejected samples with you via email before the end of this week. I'll finish catching up with some requests and I'll send that to you. That way you can find them all!
