Audition rejected for background noise
I received the following feedback for my submission...
Loud background noise is impacting your recording and adversely affecting the quality of the deliverable.
I feel I need a bit more detail to better understand how to correct this issue in the future. Is it the noise floor? Or possibly slight mouth sounds? This was recorded in a treated recording studio.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Hi Katie,
Listening to the sample, there is a background noise behind your voice. It could be caused by a computer fan/AC but it's hard to tell.
I'd suggest looking for the noise source and trying to minimize it, and also playing around with mic positioning. If that doesn't work, a bit more soundproofing might be needed.
I didn't hear any distracting mouth noises and the performance is good so it's just a question of fixing that noise and you should be good to go.

Thanks, Seb!
I will work on making the mentioned adjustments for future deliverables.
Hi Katie
The recording to me also sounds quite processed. Can you please let us know how you're recording? Microphone, interface, etc.? Also, if this recording is being processed, please share a 100% raw file.
Thank you!
