Getting offers to audition?
Hey everybody, I got accepted on here a few months ago, but have yet to get any audition invitations or jobs.
Admittedly, I neglected my membership a bit while I was on a full-time job. But now I'm working at home full time and can be much more responsive.
I just lowered my rates and uploaded higher-quality samples.
Is there anything else I can do that you guys can recommend?
Thanks,
Cory Hance

Hi Cory!
Thank you for your interest in working with us. I apologize for my delayed reply. I was out of work for several days due to a small accident and I'm now catching up with all the pending requests.
I am checking here and I see that the only submission you've sent was rejected by our QC team. This lowers your ranking in the invitations which could be why you're not seeing invitations now. Also, as you weren't using the profile, it could've gone dormant for which you're not being prioritized for invitations.
What I suggest for this case is to restart the account. With this, you'd have to reapply and pass our quality control filters again and build your profile again. This way, you can start fresh, get the boost we give new users and be able to build your profile from scratch. Would that work for you? Let me know!
Hi Angela! I'm sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you're OK.
I made a few submissions that were rejected by the QC team. But after adjusting my audio techniques, a recent submission I made was accepted.
Now I receive about 1-2 audition requests a day, and I've had a couple auditions accepted internally.
Do you think if I take down my profile and build it from scratch with my new audio capabilities, it would help me get more audition opportunities?
Thanks for your advice!

Hi Cory!
If you're already picking up the pace and getting auditions accepted, I wouldn't recommend starting from scratch! Now that your audio is much better, you should be able to start picking up the pace soon.
I suggest you start building your profile with samples as well. This way, you'll be able also to attract bookings which is our main project source (around 85% of all our projects).
Give it some time to pick up. If you see that you're getting various recordings rejected or that you're not being chosen by the client for contests, let me know and we'll see if we can restart the profile. We can't do that always, but we can review if it's a possibility!
