Hi Aurelien
The recording has a lot of room echo and it sounds very processed. Are you using a noise reduction processing? If so, please remove it as it is degrading the file a lot. I suggest you review the source of the room echo you're trying to fix and ensure you're recording in an acoustically treated space.
The solution must be found quickly.
Than, here any treatment: https://we.tl/t-YiEQexL01r

Do you hear echo ? Do you suggest EQ ? For me it's really low.
I really dont know how to solve that.
Your quality service disppoint me: with exactly the same configuration, one day all is validate as good, the day after, everything is bad!
How do you evaluate the quality? What kind of technics do you use? Can i have a screen capture of your checking quality process?
Hi Aurélien
Keep in mind that the problem with your recordings is related to the acoustic treatment of the space for which processing will not fix it. The only way to fix this situation is to review how you're treating your space and review which reflective surfaces you have near your microphone. The issue is really quite noticeable. I checked this last recording you shared and the echo is quite prominent. Depending on the project, we may approve some recordings, but that doesn't mean the issue is not present. I'm sorry if the situation causes any discomfort!
Now, I'd appreciate if you can understand that our all our quality control team members are trained individuals with several years of experience. They all have worked with voice overs be it as audio engineers for studios or as voice actors themselves and all of them have an audio-related degree. On top of that, we have been careful to make sure we provide them with professional equipment to review the recordings. In this case, they all use the Sony MDR 7506 professional studio headphones which are an industry standard worldwide when it comes to recording and mixing. We believe they are all highly capable to perform these reviews and to make part of our team.
We may pick up things you don't because you may be accustomed to your studio. When you have recorded in the same space and with the same equipment for some time, your ears get used to the sound they provide. This makes it harder to pinpoint issues when they appear and an extra opinion is always useful.
I'd also like to stress out that we never provide a comment with bad intentions. We give you the insights aiming to help you improve and notice issues with your recording gear so you can make changes if necessary. As you've helped us learn many things along the way, we want to help you as well with our knowledge and expertise in the field.
