    Hi Scott! Thanks for sharing

    The recording has several problems.

Mainly, the recording has a high level of hiss noise and room echo. The hiss noise is a bit static, so I believe it comes from your recording equipment. How are you recording? The room echo is directly related to your recording space and its treatment. It would be important to review the surfaces you have nearby that may be creating extra reflections.

Now, your performance is really natural and clear, however, your voice sounds a bit too raspy which makes it sound as if you were sick. Was this the case?

    Thanks for your response, Angela.

Oddly, Quality Control rejected the sample because for being "over-processed" with too much hiss-reduction, EQ, and compression.  But your comment suggests the opposite.

Is the Quality Control check automated or an actual person?

Thank you! I just want to have a clear direction to take on my next audition.

    :)

    Hi Scott

We have a team of professional audio engineers trained for this purpose. I do feel the noise reduction, but as the noise is still present I focused my comment on the noises so we can work to get the source of the problem pointed out.

Did you add any processing? Would you mind letting us know how you're recording?
