Echo in Demo Application

    Hi David,

Thanks for sharing your sample. I don't hear any issues with echo, but it does sound slightly overprocessed as if noise reduction software was used. Unfortunately, this type of processing often degrades/smears high frequencies, reducing the quality of the audio. I'd suggest removing that processing. If there's hiss in between words you can edit it out or lower the volume of those gaps.

Looking forward to hearing your revised audio,

    -Seb

    Hi Sebastian,

Thank you for your ear. I didn't hear any echo myself and since I have the original file saved, I'll give that a try. I thought about recording it again and starting from scratch. However, I did hear a few clicks that weren't mentioned but did remove them.

Do I have to contact customer service to reapply?

    Appreciate your reply.

    Hi Sebastian,

It took a few days to get another offer to apply. Last night it came in and I'm attaching a copy here for your review. It's a dry record minus the breaths being removed.

    Thank you again

    Hi David,

Yeah this one sounds much better. Remember to normalize to -3dB (this one looks like it was normalized to -6dB).

    Hi David

I agree with Seb's comments! The recording actually sounds really well balanced. Normalize it to -3dB and we're all good to go!

    Thanks for sharing, David!

Now that it's normalized, I noticed some harsh edits. Make sure you leave enough space after a word ends to cut and to always, always, add fades (in and out) to ensure the transitions are smooth and unnoticeable. In terms of overall quality, we're good to go!

    Hi Serrano,

Yes, I'm determined to master this as you may notice. I thought it sounded pretty fluent and flowed very well. I think I uploaded the wrong file so, I've corrected the mistakes. Thank you all very much for your time and advice, very well taken!

    Hi David,

Sounds good! I heard only two minor issues. First, the edit after "team" is a bit harsh (you can hear it cutting out). Also, "besides" sounds a bit like "beside".

Other than that you're good to go.

    Same as Seb, David!

Keep perfecting those edits and we're perfect. Please request a reconsideration on our system. You'll receive a new project within 7 and 31 days.
