Voicebunny Won't Be Able To Show The Sample
Hi, there. I'm hoping for some help. I received an email that says Voicebunny won't be able to show the following sample: https://voicebunny.com/samples/134314 due to:
-Loud plosives, and
- High level of white noise/hiss
I am using a pop filter, and I cannot hear "loud" plosives, nor see them in the audio. It's possible I hear a little more hiss than normal, but I'm not doing anything different than normal.
I have 4 things:
1. I'd like more feedback on the sample, please.
2. If Voicebunny believes the two problems are bad enough to not show the sample anymore, why did they accept it in the first place?
3. My main concern is that I've had quite a few "favorites" for this sample and actual bookings. Can the people who favorited it now not see it?
4. If it's not possible to display this particular sample anymore, is it possible for me to "redo" and replace the audio since it has been instrumental in favorites and bookings?
Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hi Carly,
I'll answer your first two questions:
I've listened to the sample and to be honest I only hear a slight plosive in "Pacific". But in terms of hiss, it sort of cuts in and out at 0:23. I can also hear some hiss after "page" and in between words, but it's not distracting. I'll forward this case to the team so in the future, you should be seeing less of these types of rejections.
The purpose of rejecting samples is to showcase only the best of your work so you can be booked more often. Samples that are uploaded or taken automatically from projects are not necessarily screened so that's why there might be samples we deem ineffective even if they have been in the platform for a long time.

Hi Carly!
As Seb already answered the first 2 questions let me go over the other 2.
3. Once a sample has been rejected, it will be taken off our Search. This means that no future Bookings will come from these samples and it won't be available anymore. We recommend removing it from your profile as soon as you receive the emails to ensure your profile is as clean as possible.
4. Samples are stamped with the number they have and can't be replaced or modified. For this reason, if you'd like to re-edit or fix any recording you had as a sample, you'd have to remove the one you already had and upload a new one. We're working on this process to see if we can allow modifications in the future.
Now, in regards to this specific sample, we've made an exception and reaccepted it based on what Seb mentioned. We've also aligned the team for future similar cases. Hope this helps!
