    Hi Michael

The link you sent belongs to your home for which it's not available for us to check. Can you please share the public link for the folder?

    Thank you.

So just a heads up to those that care, probably just me. I just did an ambient noise recording of my booth, WITH THE DOOR OPEN, and found some interesting results.

Apparently, with the door to my booth open, the loudest background noise I have today -69.34 dB at 0 Hz. That's strange!

    Hi Michael

My apologies for my late reply. Due to the holidays, our responses are a bit delayed.

Unfortunately, there are, indeed some reflections on your audio. Also, there's some boominess, plosives and an overall nasal sound to the recordings which leads me to think you're recording too near to the mic's capsule.

The only one that sounds very processed is the one named Ruben. I'd definitely suggest not doing the processes you were adding there as it definitely degraded the audio quality.

What gear are you using to record?

    Angela,

So trust me, I understand that the holidays are going to slow down responses here, so there is no need to apologize for that. In terms of my gear, I am using a TLM-103 mic and an Apollo Twin MKII Quad interface. My booth is one of my own design, since I have designed and built sound rooms and booths for the last 12 years of my career.

So, now is the time for my full disclosure. Only 2 of those files in the drop box folder were actually rejected by QC. So based on your answer after listening to those files, the QC process is an arbitrary step that is based on the ability of the person listening to it to determine if it passes the Bunny standard or not. I understand the idea I have placed forth is going to make some people mad; however, for someone to tell me that there are reflections present in a recording that I have presented for review, that have already been approved by others shows my conclusion to be true.

Additionally, the idea that my file is over processed is absurd, since the files I sent in were RAW and unprocessed. The nasally quality, boominess and plosives you spoke of is just my voice, I do feel that there are times i can get to close to the capsule of the mic, but that is why i use my pop filter 8 inches from the capsule, and I speak across the capture field not directly at the capsule.

I know that my discussion here will do nothing for having my rejections ignored, and its really kind of a shame, because I may be one of the few voice talents with this company, that actually likes working for this company. I have actually, and I am sure you can check, dropped my rates in order to get more work from Voice Bunny.

Anyway, enjoy the rest of your holidays.

    Michael

I too, am having this same problem, for days my audio is approved then here and there then odd ones rejected. Just one today saying poor editing and a click, I'm an audio producer. I use no conditioning or compression, my audio is completely raw, after all, aren't the clients using the audio going to further produce it up anyway?  I'm at a loss, when I voice full-time from the same studio, same equipment and settings every day, plus I voice for many other agencies who never have a problem with my audio.

Today, they said there was rough editing and click in my audio, here in my studio, no click to be heard what so ever. In fact I do use diagnostics on all my audio and use click repair from time to time. But no processing, I  just de-breath and clean the raw/dry audio.

Anyone else having this trouble or inconsistency when submitting audio to Voice Bunny?

    Warm regards, Wendy Maree
