    Hi, Patrice.

In the audio "Gallery" I can notice an echo that's affecting the recording. That reverb must come from some a nearby object which surface is reflecting the sound, or perhaps the recording booth is not adequately treated.

In the file "cisco-1" the echo problem is less noticeable, however, there's hiss noise that I can hear throughout the recording, and also a lot of sibilance that could have been produced by an extra process you're adding, because it sounds quite bright.

Are you applying any plugin to the files? If so, could you please share a raw recording with us?

    Best,

    Oscar

Hello.. Here is a link to an unprocessed RAW audio file. Do you have a typical protools preset to apply to fit your new analysis software?

    Regards

    Thank you, Patrice.

Absolutely nothing. We just listen to the recording as it sounds.

In this new raw recording, I can still hear a bit of reverberation and there are also mouth clicks that are quite distracting (e.g. secs 06, 08, 10)

Have you found that these sound reflections appear in other of your recordings? Would you mind sharing with us a picture of your recording space?

Here is the same raw audio file with the cleaned blanks.
Do you have a preset of protools treatments
    to transmit me?

    Hi Patrice

Keep in mind we prefer 100% raw, unprocessed audio so we don't recommend adding processing in any way. For this reason, we don't have any plugin presets. It's better to make sure you treat your space appropriately to ensure your audio is clean without the need for cleaning processes.

I am checking and the file does have some reflections in it. Checking the pics you sent, I believe it could be the computer's screen, the glass where it's standing and the metallic frame. I'd suggest taking that out of your recording booth altogether as these materials are very reflecting. If you can't, then I'd take the computer out and cover the frame and glass table. You can try doing so with a blanket.

Hello Angela, here is a new raw audio file. There is no treatment except the voicemaster rack. There should be no more reflection now. I hid the glass and the metal frame. Regards.

Hello Angela, the previous link is no longer downloadable after 7 days. Here is a new link with the same file. This is raw audio file (sample 141575 on my voicebunny profile). There is no treatment except the voicemaster rack. There should be no more reflection now. I hid the glass and the metal frame. Regards.

     Hi, Patrice.

I've picked up some reflections (e.g. sec 11 ) but they've definitely improved.

Also, in my opinion, there's hiss impacting the recording. Pay close attention to the ending and beginning of the sentences at secs 06-07.

    Let us know your thoughts.

    Thank you for that, Patrice.

I'm still able to hear some minor reflections in there. There had to be an object nearby, or the ceiling or floor were reflecting somehow the sound.

Notice that having an approved sample is no guarantee of future approvals, as we've been strengthening our QC standards, so what could have been approved before, may not be approved now.

I am the first to love providing quality work. There remained a window between the sound engineer and the recording studio. I have it hidden. I hope that this time, you will have nothing to redirect on the reflection and the file will be validated and the account reactivated. it is a professional studio with carpet floor, wall and acoustic ceiling). I cross in our collaboration for a year but if it is not the case, let me know that we save time both.

    Hi Patrice

The sound is really well now. I believe the window was the culprit! The recording is a bit loud, but just toning the gain a couple of dBs would suffice. I have reactivated your account now. Please make sure you delete all the previously rejected samples to avoid getting deactivated again.

Thank you and we look forward to working more with you!
