    Hi Nathaniel

Thanks for sharing! The recordings sound quite filtered. Did you add any processing to the recording? The mid-frequencies are quite boosted making your voice sound nasal. There's also some hiss noise in the sample soldger which may mean you're adding processing to the other 2 where the noise is not that prominent.

This is not ideal as the frequency response is heavily impacted. Can you share some raw recordings with us? Also, can you let me know which equipment you're using to record?

    Hello Nathaniel,

Apart from what Angela has said, I also noticed some clippings in the Mickey Mouse sample (secs 01, 05, 11). Given that you raised the intensity of your voice the signal could have peaked at times.

We look forward to getting your raw recordings.

    Best,

so here are 2 new samples unfiltered, no processed, no noise reduction, and normalized to -3

Although that first one is a bit hard to assess because of your performance, it shows that you're quite talented! Well done, Nathaniel.

Regarding the Mickey sample, I was able to pick up a slight reverberation (e.g. sec 04 "HOpe", 09 "Oh")

Let me know what you think.

so if I upload them the system shouldn't reject them?

Once I do upload a sample, how long will it take to for the system to let me know weather the sample has been rejected or not? I have uploaded one already, and I want to upload more, but I don't want to risk my profile getting shut down because I simple didn't wait long enough.

The assessment process normally takes around 48 hours, Nathaniel.

Notice that the system will only let you know if the sample has been rejected, not if it's been accepted. So, in this case, no news is good news.
