    Hi, Christina.

Thank you for sharing your work!

I can also hear that electrical noise in your recording. In order to fix this, you might want to, first, check your surroundings: turn off all electrical appliances nearby; close doors and isolate your recording space as best as you can; notice that there are no outside sounds affecting your work.

After that, concentrate on the sound of your recording space: make sure the noise is not coming from an A/C unit or from a particularly loud lighting system. Your own computer can also be causing it, as well as the cables and connections you're using (-a personal issue- your laptop charger cable in case you have one); the cable that connects to your microphone must be balanced -XLR-, and as short as possible.

Once you've recorded a great and natural sound, you'll want to normalize the file to -3dB, so it has a more balanced gain.

Hope some of this info helps! You can also share with us the equipment you're using, and even some photos of your setup.

    Best,

    Hi Christina

I also pick up the electrical noise. I believe it's generated by a piece of equipment you're using or by a faulty cable. How are you recording? Can you let us know which equipment you're using?

At2020USB+, a Mac, and Audacity.  I uploaded another version that I thought fixed the noise, but then I was told that this is overproduced?  Let me know what you think!
