    Hi Quentin,

Overall the samples sound ok, although we prefer samples without music (as the majority of our projects are fulfilled without music). Also, the samples sound like they have too much mid-range but not enough bass, almost like an old-school VO. If you're using EQ I'd filter less of the low end. If you're not, the mic you're using might not be the best match for your voice.

Lastly, some of them (like this one: https://voicebunny.com/samples/141294) sound processed, as if noise reduction was used on them. High frequencies sound slighltly smeared and not as clear.

Please record a sample that sounds a bit more "full-bodied" and with less processing so we can proceed with reactivation.

Some samples deleted and EQ adjusted. I kept music in just a few samples clients had referenced often and marked as favorites.

    Hi Quentin

I'll give you some general comments from the samples.

    1. The recordings are too loud. Maybe you're adding a compressor or adding with a bit too much gain. This makes it quite strident and hard to listen to as well as adds quite some hiss noise. Make sure you recording with healthy levels of gain and avoid using compression.

    2. The recordings have several reflections that make the overall quality to sound boxy and, as Seb mentioned, quite muddy and with a lot of mid-range frequencies. This is probably caused by your acoustic space not being adequate for recording and/or because your microphone is not ideal for your voice tone.

    3. The recordings have several plosives and mouth noises. It's important to always record using a pop filter and at an appropriate distance from your mic. You may also want to try recording off-axis from the mic to reduce the pressure the capsule is receiving.

Can you share a 100% raw recording with us? Also, would you mind letting us know how you're recording in terms of gear? If you want, it'd also be helpful to see some pics of your space.
