    Hi Neo,

As a fellow user I can describe to the best of my knowledge the recent changes at VoiceBunny.

Of late the standards have risen accepting only pristine recordings. There are some reflections heard in your recording which is typical of an area lacking sufficient acoustic treatment. To my ears the reflections are light but present.

I actually prefer low quality headphones for finding audio issues as they typically accentuate ugly frequencies and balance issues. The sound typically expected is somewhat acoustically dead without any room interference capturing only the vocal take maximizing the sensitivity of your condenser microphone.

VoiceBunny may suggest addressing any uncovered hard surfaces in your recording environment such as ceilings, floors, walls, desks, wardrobes. That's my two cents anyway.

    All the best,

    James

Thank you for sharing your work, Neo, and thank you, James, for your valuable contribution!

I can also hear the reflections. You might want to crank up the volume a bit, and pay close attention at the very beginning, for instance, (sec 01- aBOUT EARnin-). That's repeated throughout the file.

As James has suggested, reverberation is always about the space we're using to record. May I propose covering up all possible surfaces that might be reflecting the sound with blankets to see if those reflections are reduced? That will for sure help.

Thank you for your feedback. I can hear it now. I discovered that there had been a change to the room that had undone some of the damping, so it makes sense why it was only this recording that had problems.
