Kids' voices...
Hi!
I just my account reactivated last week, and my first competition was for a boy's voice. I had this on my profile because I have taken some animation workshops and thought it was one of my strengths. My audition was rejected on account of me not being a boy, which I have since read is your policy.
Could I please get that rejection removed from my account? Now I know the policy I won't audition for any more kids things. It's just that it was my first audition in over 3 years and I think it really tanked my stats. I've invested a lot in new equipment and would really like another shot at getting work.
Thanks for your understanding!

Unfortunately, I too have been burned on this in the past. It's a shame because I am hired quite frequently in professional settings for children's voices, especially boys. The reason I was given by the team way back when we had a conversation about it was that clients only want actual kids? However, I wish there was an option for the clients to specify, because I feel like that is not always the case---for example, there is certain nuanced animation and game work where they tend to prefer adults who can sound like children if they want a certain direction or expect it to be a long-running project (kids' voices can change, etc)
