Account reinstatement
My account got deactivated a while ago, probably due to my living situation being pretty chaotic and not having the best of conditions for recording voice overs. As I feel I'm finally situation where I want to be, I wanted to get back into it. I've recorded a test for review and hope to make any adjustments in order to get reinstated as a Bunny Pro! Thanks for the feedback!

Hi Garrek,
Thanks for sharing your sample. It's very good in terms of acoustics and hiss but unfortunately, it has heavy plosives. Make sure to use a professional pop-filter. If you're already using one, I'd recommend filtering out the low end of your recording with high-pass filter EQ (around 80Hz would be a good starting point). Another suggestion would be to record words with possible plosives (especially with p's) at an angle so the air coming out of your mouth doesn't hit the mic capsule directly.
I also noticed a very small issue with mouth clicks, make sure to edit those out.
Hope that helps and we look forward to hearing an improved sample.
Thanks for the feedback. I am using a pop filter and have noticed it doesn't seem to be working too well. Do you have any recommendations on better ones? Also, I was under the impression that we were not supposed to edit any samples that we send in...? If that's not the case then I could definitely do some editing.
Metal screens are preferred by many pros but I've used non-metallic ones with good results.
We actually prefer well-edited submissions without mouth clicks or noises. We do recommend not going overboard with processing. Corrective EQ and filters are ok.
Gotcha. I'll take that into account on my next recording and post it as soon as I can.
Okay, here is my next test. Hopefully there is some improvements. I got a new pop filter and more sound dampening for my booth: https://drive.google.com/open?id=13KyCUSvBbOS1cNTKJxHjQlThFYKn9h8q
Hi Garrek,
Sounds good!
Make sure to delete all of your old samples and record some new ones with this quality.
We've now reactivated your account.
Fantastic! Thank you so much.
