Re-Entry Test for VoiceBunny

First of all, Eric, I'm truly sorry about what's happened to your brother. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

As a side note, I suggest you avoid relying solely on VoiceBunny's income as it can take a bit of time to be able to live off the platform, particularly for people living in countries like USA, Canada, Japan, certain parts of Europe, etc.

Regarding the sample, unfortunately, I've found sound reflections /resonance at some parts (0:01 "I'VE..."; 0:05 "subsCRIPtion"etc) Even though you've covered the microphone with foam, perhaps the space has a surface that's reflecting the sound or there's a particular object that's resonating with your voice.

Definitely, avoid compressing the file as it might cause plosives such as the one at 0:14 "Diving"

Please, re-record it and share it again with us once you've found a solution to the issues mentioned.

    Best,

    Oscar

I'm not relying solely on it; I'm working 50 hours a week in an auto shop.

I can't record now but check this clip from a video I'm currently producing.

I was inhaling more often than necessary because I was in a huge rush trying to get the recordings done while dealing with the family stress and some issues with Adobe Premiere. The technical quality of the clip should pass inspection, though in this particular clip compression was adjusted for the video. I'm thankful to have my dbx 266xs with how simple it makes adjustments like that.

Wow. You've got a great voice, Eric.

Minor details regarding loud breaths and some reflections that shouldn't be too problematic. There's a plosive at 0:17 "examPLES". Apart from that, well done.

    Hi Eric,

Sounds good. I suggest filtering below 80Hz to prevent low-frequency issues (for example in "constantly"). I'd also edit out any noises in between words.

    We've now reactivated your account.
