Sample Removed After Review
Hi,
I've recently had two of my samples removed for the reason:
- The sample doesn’t convey a complete idea, or the duration is shorter than 15 seconds.
Both samples constitute the entirety of the voice over for each project. While they are both shorter than 15 seconds, the only time constraint indicated on the sample upload page is that it must be shorter than 30 seconds. There has never been an indication that the samples must be longer than 15 seconds. I don't understand why these samples were removed. Each has also been liked by a VoiceBunny client, so it would be beneficial if these clients were still able to access the samples. Additionally, many of my other samples are shorter than 15 seconds as well, but, as with the two that were removed, they still constitute the entirety of the voice over and convey the complete idea.
Thank you!

Hi Joel
I agree that some projects are short and don't even make it to the 15s mark. The reasoning behind this "limit" is that our clients often reject saying they didn't hear a regional accent in the sample or simply didn't hear enough of the Pro and then realize a full read sounds different than the sample.
We have also analyzed the performance of all samples and realized longer samples are more effective and get more bookings.
At the moment, the process is a bit manual, but we're working on features to make managing samples easier and for talents to see more information regarding their performance.
Thanks for your feedback,
-Seb
