Audio Quality
After buying some new equipment and learning a little more, I wanted to record a sample and get some feedback before I resubmit to Voice Bunny. If you could give me some pointers that would be great! Thanks!

Great voice, I enjoyed the performance. However, regarding quality there are two important issues:
-Room echo: it sounds as if you're not recording in an acoustically treated space. Have a read here: https://goo.gl/vGqUIW.
-Background hiss/noise: This could be caused by a fan or computer in the room you're recording in.

I took the time and built a vocal booth to remove the room echo from my recordings. The one issue I have been running into is the hiss on my recordings. I can't seem to get rid of it. There is still a faint hiss that I can barely hear but it's there. Here is what I'm working with, maybe you can offer some insight....U-Phoria UMC404HD running via usb to my new MacBook Pro (about a month old). I am working with AKG P220 mics currently as welI. I also just purchased an iFi iDefender 3.0 in case it was a ground loop issue...the hiss is still present though.
I also have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and a Behringer Xenyx X1204 mixer...hooked them both up and got the same results. Any feedback or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Wow. That sounds like a tough one to eliminate.
If the iDefender hasn't worked, it might have something to do with a faulty wire somewhere.
Have you tried swapping USB cables (for the UMC404)?
Also, if you could use a new XLR that would be awesome.
Do you happen to have another computer in which you can record? Just to eliminate all possibilities...

I'll leave this here and let me know what you hear/see. I did another read from an old 1-800-COLLECT commercial. I read through it pretty quickly but I wanted to get more feedback on the noise and/or hiss. I've been messing around with cables, mics, levels, etc. Give me your feedback when you get a chance.

In terms of hiss/noise this one is good to go. It does have other issues like plosives and room echo though.
I agree with Sebastian's comments, Armando.
To correct those plosives, try recording a couple of centimeters further from the mic, and place it at an angle that the air that comes from your mouth does not impact the diaphragm directly.
Remember to eliminate all the objects which surface might be resonating with your voice, and put some acoustic treatment material over the parts that perhaps are still uncovered.
