Resubmit application - equipment advice pls!
Hey Bunnies! Would love some advice. My application was rejected for room echo and lack of professional equipment. I want to upgrade my recording setup and re-apply. Wondering if the community can recommend fairly inexpensive but high quality recording equipment? And the best way to combat room echo? I know smaller spaces are good, using clothing/blankets/towels to pad.

Now, regarding the equipment, there are endless possibilities for you to try. We do not recommend any brand in particular, but as long as your condenser microphone has an xlr connection, your interface does not generate hiss/hum and you have a good pop filter (of course your recording space must not have reflective surfaces around or those should be covered by soundproof materials) you'll be ready to go.
