Please reconsider my submission for a booking.
Hi there,
I had a job just now that was rejected due to sounding like it had too much compression, yet I don't use any compression or audio treatment. I have not had any previous jobs rejected for this issue and have not changed my set up or studio conditions. Could my submission be reconsidered for the job I was working on please? Hi Joh,
I don't hear heavy compression. However, it does seem like the file has not been normalized.
Please use the normalize function in your software editor and set it to -3dB.
Once this has been done you can resubmit.
