Submission rejected for "an audible room echo"
Hello,
Here is my submission for a speedy which was rejected because of:
“There is an audible room echo (reverberation) impacting your recording.”
French voiceover submit rejected : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1N864t0Dy_7IvXazpQfIj5-1O_TFwvxuG
Personally, I hear no echo or reverbation. In doubt, I asked the opinion of a colleague who is a sound engineer, he also does not hear any echo that would make this recording unusable.
So, I would like to have more details about the reasons for this rejection.
Thanks. Please sign in to leave a comment.
Hi Ribeiro,
There is a room resonance in your recording. As some of our clients are quite specific about this issue, we have to reject these type of submissions, especially if they are speedies. Make sure to add more acoustic treatment to your room and record far away from any reflective surfaces.
Hello Ribeiro
I agree with Sebastian. I've noticed some resonances for example in the word "itinéraire" as soon as you start it. Perhaps you have some objects that are resonating somehow with your voice as well, so go over your recording space to double-check that no reflective surfaces are around ;)
