    Hello Shawn

    I don't think there's echo there, however, I've noticed some white noise in the background (for instance, pay close attention to 0:03 - 0:05). Maybe was the way it was recorded that made it sound processed?

    I don't hear that. I DO hear proximity effect, as my mouth wandered back and forth! :) 

    That said, as I listen, I don't really like the overall performance, so I am happy to keep it out.

    How do you NOT hear the reverberation from your vocal booth walls? Seriously. It's loud and clear. It's a very fast reverberation, but it's still there most definitely. Fortunately lots of clients are so used to this sound that they don't mind. As a vocal audio engineer it drives much crazy.
