looking for clarification on rejection
|
Uh-oh! I'm sorry, but the work you submitted for 1. what are the reasons for rejection? 2. I was instructed to revise and resubmit but was not able to within 20 minutes or receiving the notice. 3. Here is the audio in question. Thanks! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fvKlNyG8mBWuvReUN1hBx6-WO22q8k8E/view?usp=sharing |

Hey Danny
So sorry about this as the revision template was sent empty by mistake.
The problem with this one according to QC was "electrical hum in your recording".
Nonetheless, as you couldn't actually revise and resubmit the file, the rejection has been ignored and it won't affect your stats.
Cheers
Thank you Oscar. Did you listen to this sample here that I linked to? I have it cranked up in my headphones and can't hear a thing. I'm wondering if a digital glitch went through in the sending vs. this actual sample? And if it is in this sample can you direct me to the time that it occurs?
Thanks!
Absolutely Danny!
I was able to notice it particularly clear at 0:08 after "Cash". Let me know if you hear it too.
Cheers
I checked at :08 and I can still hear nothing!
That's strange, Danny.
I can clearly hear it during the silence gaps in between phrases. Another one that sounds clear to me is at 0:03 after "audiences".
Hey there Oscar! I finally figured it out. As this mysterious hum has been rearing its non-audio friendly head with more frequency. Hector sent me a highlighted file where it happened again this morning. After isolating the original track recording I could hear it. Please pass this message along to him.
Ha! Muchisimas gracias Hector! I figured it out. For more lengthy projects I have recorded a "room noise" track to have as a continuous sound feed to be placed under cuts/edits. It appears that this track is corrupted, in all likelihood by a car passing by or some other small/faint noise in the very distant background...as my mic I'm using...the Sennheiser mk 416 is extremely sensitive! Thanks man. Problem solved. Please let me know if there are any other instances of this on the project.
Hey gentlemen!
Thanks for taking the suggestions and putting them into place, Danny! Just heard one of your audios today and the hum is completely gone. Your audio now sounds super clean and yummy!
Cheers, mate!
