Professional Recording Equipment
My application was rejected due to:
1) Lack of use of pro-quality recording equipment.
2) Excessive background noise in the audio.
I was wondering: one of the immediate options I have is a sE Electronics reflection filter, pop filter and Blue Snowball or Blue Yeti microphone. I didn't use those for the registration submission.
Am I required to also have access to a recording studio with sound proofing or are those three pieces of equipment sufficient improvements?
Just wanting to see if it would be worth reapplying again on that setup without a studio. Thanks!

Hi Michelle
Ideally, you'd need an XLR condenser microphone because of the quality of sound you can get with them. Normally, a USB mic does not deliver the kind of quality we're looking for. Also, a sound interface would need to complement your mic.
Having a recording space available at all times would definitely help you grow your career within the platform as this is a very fast-paced environment with relatively quick turnaround times. So, if you don't have access to your own home-studio at the moment, it would be better to wait until you do so to get the most out of VoiceBunny.
