help with rejected file
Hello,
My file was just rejected for the reason below. I'm not sure what the problem is as I used the exact same EQ that I have for all my other projects. Can anyone help me understand what they're hearing and how to fix it?

"The read is beautiful but the audio has only mids and high frequencies... no low mids and bass frequencies :( We don't know what kind of processing you used but, unfortunately, this audio sounds unnatural. Compare with the sample the client selected and you will hear the lack of low end/bass frequencies."

Hi Sara,
As the review says, there's less low-frequency content in this submission versus the sample selected by the client. Aside from EQ, this can also be caused by recording too far from the mic, a small change of an inch can have a dramatic impact on the amount of bass the mic picks up.
It's a small issue but for future submissions, we hope you can address it, as subjectively, your voice will sound more powerful and compelling if it has more bass.
