    Hi Brian

    Thank you for that.

I'm still seeing in our database that you have not deleted all the rejected samples. If you keep them, then your profile will be automatically deactivated again.

    Cheers

I went through yesterday before I contacted support and deleted every single sample that said "rejected". All of the remaining samples that I can see on my profile say "approved". I went from 7 pages of samples to 3 pages. After I click "delete" and they disappear from my profile, is there further action I need to take?

    Ohhh perfect, Brian.

The system takes 24 hours to update which is probably why the changes haven't been reflected.

I'll now share this case with the QC team.

    Cheers

    Hi Brian!

Thanks for sharing your recording. I am Angela, Head of Quality and Pro Management.

Unfortunately, the file does have some issues that need to be addressed before we can reactivate your profile. Let me mention them.

    1. The file sounds muffled and middy. This can be caused by processing (EQing or noise reduction) but my guess it's the nature of the mic's capsule that you're using that captures sound this way.

    2. The recording has hiss noise. It's usually just on the s, f and sh sounds for which I believe it could be caused, as well, by how the mic is reacting to your voice and the gain added to your preamplifier.

Can you let us know how you're recording in terms of equipment? If you can also share some pics of your recording space it would be great so we can give you a better assessment!

Thank you! Looking forward to working together to have you back really soon.

    Hi Brian!

I think the problem is the flat surface from the monitor that is causing the audio to have some reverb, also please avoid using post-processing  and deliver only normalized recordings.

    Hope this helps!

    Juan
