    Hi Lauren0,

This is awesome!! Thanks for being so eager to improve, you're on the right track

Quality is so much better, kudos for that.

We can still work on some minor things and you'll be more than ready to rock the VO world.

    1. 0:04 'SEO is optimizing' there is a small editing issue, you can listen to a small hint of a breath there, and the words are coming a bit too fast, consider using a crossfade there, you'll avoid the breath sound and you can leave a bit more space between the words there.

    2. 0:14 you get a little bit of breath there. Breathing is not wrong, but you should be consistent whether you'll allow breathing on your recording or not. Also, feels like the plugin you're using is cutting the breathing midway.

    3. 0:26 'you're going to use' there's the same little breath issue as before.

    4. 0:32 after 'search terms go' there are some mouth noises, please be careful with those, quick edit and you're good to go.

    5. In the end, make sure to use a fade out and delete all unnecessary audio, such as breathing or other stuff.

    6. There is a hint of plosives in some of the 'P' of your recording, you can use a pop filter to avoid that, or, if you're already using one, you could set the mic on a slight angle, that should help too.

There is a number of things but they are all very small, I'm sure you can fix those in no time.

Also, kudos on the acoustics! That's tricky and you're doing an amazing job there.

Cheers, hope to listen more of your amazing new equipment.

Btw, if you don't mind, could you share with us your new equipment and recording space, maybe some pictures too, that'd be awesome!!

Jonathan, thank you so much for the great  feedback.  I have applied some of your suggestions and reposted the link for you to review.

As for my studio, I am using the Scarlett Focusrite interface with my Windows 10 Lenovo Yoga and a NT1 Rhodes microphone.  I have a very cool little studio space in my home closet so there are a lot of natural acoustics in there.

    Hey Lauren,

Thanks for coming back so quick!

So, you're fixing some stuff but now there's another thing to work on:

    1. 0:04 'SEO is optimizing'. The volume is going down in the middle of the words, that shouldn't happen. The same thing is happening at 0:24 'going to use'.

    2. I'm still picking up some plosives.

So this is what I think could help:

    1. I'd like to know, are you using any processing or plugins? If so, what are you using?

    2. Are you using a pop filter? If you are, can you try to position the mic at a slight angle to avoid the plosives? If you did that, how about you take half step back and try to record again, see if that helps.

    Here to help you,

    Cheers

    Hi Jonathan,

Here's another demo I have been working on for you to check some of things we looked at in the other one.

This is a different style read and I have really listened and edited hoping to have fixed the finer points you mentioned earlier.

    Thank you for your feedback!

    Hi Lauren,

First, amazing job, your quality is improving quite a lot!
I just have a couple of things for you to check, I'm still having the plosives issue, it's less noticeable now, but you can still do better with that, for that you can do a couple of things:

    1. The pop filter.

    2. Placing the mic on a slight angle.

    3. Taking a step back from the mic when recording.

Also, I picked some mouth noises in this one, please visit our community page where you'll find tips on how to control mouth noise issues: https://bit.ly/2NjTyUK.

Please work on those things and come back with new audio.

We're almost there, keep up the good work !!

    Hello,

When can I expect to be reactivated so I can continue to send in auditions and be open to new clients?

I am very happy with the results of my new professional studio and I am sure the quality delivered will be consistently of high standards.

Please respond with the reactivation date.

    Thank you!

    Hi Lauren!

While reactivation is not within the powers invested in Johnny or me for that case, we can certainly ask those in charge to reconsider lifting the ban.

The last sample submitted is almost golden! I think we could make a recommendation when a new sample that has addressed Johnatan's last comments is submitted and vetted.

You're on the right track, keep at it!
