    Hi Hitomi,

    Thanks for your submission, I just heard your audio and have a couple of thoughts:

    • Sounds to me like your audio has the volume too low, is your deliverable is not normalized to the -3dBFS peak level we have in our requirements?
    • Sounds like you're applying processing to your audio, something like noise gate, deverb or something similar, are you?

    Thanks a bunch for reaching out to us. While concurring with Johnny, I must also add:

    1) There appears to be an issue with plosives on your hard consonants. I'd double-check the placement of the pop-filter and also try with different mouth-to-microphone distances (plus a little bit of side address if needed) to ensure those popping sounds don't send hard-hitting airwaves into your mic capsule.

    I honestly don't know -- these are samples from different jobs. Here's the thing -- I had a whole bunch of demos on VoiceBunny that had been approved, for years, and suddenly I was told that only three of my demos are approved now (one of which is the one I'd posted here). So I've deleted all the recently disapproved ones, but they said my account still wouldn't be activated unless I post here.

    I should put my two other demos that had been approved by VoiceBunny QC.

    What I don't get is that there had been no problem for years, and suddenly, this is happening. I had great reviews from clients saying my audio quality was great, and I ranked #1 out of 574 in bookings...

    Hi Hitomi, I know this can be a bit confusing for you, getting all these new messages and changes here. But, as you may know, we are constantly evolving, getting better and improving our services, which means that our quality standards are going up too. I'm not saying your work is not enough, on the contrary, you are doing an amazing job, and that's why we think that you can deliver what we're looking for. 

    I'd be more than happy to listen to a new sample, please do take into consideration what Hector and I said, work on those minor issues and come back with a new sample, I'm pretty sure that after doing that, we could reactivate your account.

    Hi Johnatan,

    Honestly, I'm about to give up on this...

    I did exactly what you instructed - uploading the 'commercial' sample that you'd just heard/approved here. The account has been reactivated (thank you), but the 'commercial' sample I uploaded per your instruction has "rejected" written on it. Am I supposed to remove this sample, even though you said to put it up? Is my account going to be deactivated again?

    I understand you have different QCs, but this is just way too inconsistent...

    Hi Hitomi, this is the suggestion I just got from our engineering team:

    Could you please ask her if she can generate the audio again with these characteristics?
    ”WAV file with a 44.1Khz sample rate and a 16-bit resolution

    Please make sure your file has those characteristics and upload it again.

    The audio file does have those characteristics. Otherwise, you won't be able to even upload a file onto your site -- the system doesn't accept any other characteristics.

    Right now I'm seeing that file in our sample submissions, but since it was a test it's under a completely different category. Can you please download the one on this link and upload it from your account?

    That same exact file can't be uploaded from my end (tried multiple times) -- the error message says it's not 44100.

    We're very very sorry about this situation, as it turns out, it's more complicated that our team expected and we'll need more time to work it out. 

    Our engineering team is working on it, they are doing everything they can to come up with a solution as soon as possible.

    Once again, we're very sorry about this, this is a very particular case for us, but rest assured, our amazing and more than capable engineering team is working on it as we speak.

    Our amazing team did it! It's working now, I just tested it.

    If you go to your samples you'll see the new one under 'Test 1' it's PendingToBeReviewed, you can just delete that one and upload it again filling the criteria with the right information.
