Submission rejected= Looking for feedback
I don’t actually know why this one was rejected. The first time it was because they said I had too many plosives and they asked for a revision. I thought that was pretty awesome that they were going to allow me to revise it. This particular contest was asking for a more emotional read, so I probably overdid the sounds a bit. So I spent quite a bit of time doing the revision- stood farther from the mic, and angled my face away and literally when through and using envelope tool manually fixed every single possible plosive sound- and never got any notification for a rejection-- and yet...when checking my accepted projects list it was apparently rejected- but with no explanation or notification.
Is there some OTHER issue with this audio?

Hi Aleesha,
I'm sorry that this happened to you, I see no issues with this new audio. What happened is that the client picked the winner of the contest before you could upload your revision. It is most likely that they were in a hurry and needed to select an audition quickly.

Joe B, I really appreciate that! I’m trying to use every “failure” as a chance to grow and learn. Also, I only post my rejections lol- so hopefully since this one wasn’t actually rejected, thats a good sign that I’m on the right track!
