Cancelling Application Project
Hi there,
I recently submitted a sample for the application project, and a revision was requested due to unacceptable levels of white noise and room echo. Unfortunately due to the constraints of my current setup, I'm unable to revise my recording to meet your standards at this time.
It feels unprofessional to just ignore the request for a revision until it times out, but I don't see any way to reach out and explain that I will be unable to complete the project.
Edit: Possibly scratch that, I tried a different microphone I had and it may have resolved the noise problems. In any event, if it ends up getting sent back again, is there a polite way to respond to the project to say I'm unable to complete it?

They will be able to help you with your application project.
