Not a "Young Adult" voice? Advice Please!
Hello, I'm confused. I had an audition denied because QC said "Your recording does not reflect the age the client requested." It was to represent a Young Adult Female. I’ve have created multiple voice-over projects that were Young Adult.
Can someone help me understand why they would reject it?

Listened to the example and I wonder if it sounds too young. It almost sounded like a child to me, but then I'm old!
Will be curious to hear what a VB Manager has to say about it. Those are just my questions / observations as another VO person.

Thank you, Joe. I recorded and resent a more adult sound. I was thinkimg young adult as a teen. My mistake.
