hi team,
this was rejected for "The acoustic conditions in your recording space are not ideal. Proper treatment to prevent room echo and reverberations is a must when trying to achieve professional results."
I just can't hear and i think i'm going crazy. i'm in a closet, no glass, no wood, a dressing gown over my head and a mic shield, any isolated points where you can hear room tone?

Hi Ben, thanks for reaching out.
I do hear the room tone, it's present in all your dialogue. The fact that you're using a gate to avoid the room tone in the gaps between the phrases is not making up for the room tone when you speak, the most important part of the recording.
Also, there are some plosives issues with your recording too.
