compression on submission?
Hello,
I recently submitted my test project (https://voicebunny.com/projects/#/timeline/676E36CF8EBB59150D83), and it was rejected for too much processing/compression. After looking at the forums, I see many people get rejected as well.
This is the first time from any audio site where my audio was flagged for using compression.
I am not sure what's compressed because there is no compression on the file, and it was normalized to -3db. there is a setting in Ardour DAW that does the normalizing on export. After export I pulled the wave file into Audacity to check the level, and it's ~-3db.
Can you point me in a direction (timestamp) so i know what you're (not) hearing? I want to make sure my settings are correct for submissions.
Thank you for your time.

I was unable to hear what you mentioned in the previous response.
I've spent many hours, months working on my booth to eliminate much un needed noise, if you hear something, please let me know and I can address it and resubmit. I want to make sure I'm submitting quality work all around.
I am a C style in a DISC personality, so getting things correct is "my job" :)
looking forward to hearing back from you.

cleaned up the mouth clicks, which after all these years I still have, hopefully this will be a clean copy.
I look forward to your feedback.
As for my mouth clicks, I've tried many things over the years:
if anyone has any family tips/tricks, I'm would love to hear and try them. I've spent so much time building my booth, configuring hardware and time in the booth, yet I still have mouth clicks. :(
Hi Kev, we're glad we could help and see that you are this thankful.
As for mouth clicks, may I suggest you give this article a read, I'm sure you'll find it helpful
Let me know what you think
thanx @Johnatan,
That article helped me out and I found some other great tips I haven't heard (no pun intended) before. I think I am just a constant sufferer of mouth clicks, and will edit out all that I find.
Thank you for all your help, my final submission was accepted! YAY!!!!!
You're welcome Kev, I'm glad to read this, well deserved!
