Confirm that I'm using an acceptable mic?
I recently received an email from Help @ Bunny Studio that said:
"It seems that the microphone that you are using does not fulfill the technical requirements that VoiceBunny has for its submitted voiceovers."
Despite my submissions being internally accepted on the first try more often than not, it seems a QA worker flagged one of my submissions as needing follow-up. My account is suspended because I put off accessing the community forum, since my mic setup seems to be working just fine since that one flagged submission.
Here's what I'm using to record:
RODE Procaster Broadcast Dynamic Vocal Microphone plugged into a Cloudlifter CL-1 Mic Activator plugged into a Scarlett 2i2 mixer, all recording into ProTools or Audacity on my HP laptop.
My suspicion is that I applied too much EQ to the flagged submission in an attempt to drown out a neighbor's loud generator down the street, but this is not the norm and my setup seems to record professionally enough for the majority of Voicebunny QAers.
Can I get some feedback?

Hello, Laura! Thank you for participating in this Community! :-)
Please accept my apology on behalf of our failed assumption :-( ... Your microphone setup is a-OK!
Having to deal with external noise can be very difficult ... and what I can suggest at this point is:
I know I'm not helping you much with these suggestions... but this is the best I could do :-(
Best regards,
Oki
