Seeking Feedback please!
Hello,
I have been auditioning and have feedback on hiss and low volume. When I requested reconsideration and received a project, I had lousy timing as my interface quit working and I have since bought a new one and installed/configured it.
I have done a voice recording and would appreciate feedback before I ask again for reconsideration.

You've got this awesome engaging and friendly vibe to your voiceover ... and I really dig it!!
The thing about dynamics processing is that it's REALLY DIFFICULT to correctly tweak parameters :-((( ... and in this recording, we hear lots of white noise rearing its ugly head. We will have to ask you to solve the noise issue.
By the way, are you using a Shure SM-7B or an Electro-Voice RE-20? A lot of pros (including myself) may require signal booster, such as CloudLifter, to help reducing the mic's typical white noise issue (but if you use a condenser mic... then please disregard my assumption!).

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate your time and constructive comments and will work to make the product better. I am using an AT2020 with a focusrite solo interface with the gain set at 10am and audacity.. I'll keep working it to reduce noise. Any suggestions?

That indeed had white noise issue at the preamp, as far as I know :-(((
The unit is OK as long as you use it as an A/D converter. Deploying a standalone preamp (such as Focusrite ISA One hooked up to Scarlett's mic preamp gain turned down all the way) will definitely help. Also it's best to use a top-of-the-line shortest mic cable to avoid this noise issue.
