Feedback for Account Reactivation (Tagalog)
Hello VoiceBunny/Bunny Studio Voice team,
I have had no success using my email address to access my audition project on VoiceBunny/BSV again these last 7 days even after it was reset by Amal Hassan. (I tried to upload but I kept being led to an error site.)
I have decided to just upload my audition pieces on a separate server and make them available to you here:
- Take 1 (original script) = https://drive.google.com/open?id=1rvh3cB6j3ZQY5UrRcz289Skc_2fPD8ee
- Take 2 (script revised by myself) = https://drive.google.com/open?id=1QikIoNYxzKI1BZBz1uZyRdakW65KQLnf
- Take 3 (script revised by myself) = https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_fkL5QLv8_sXypW9gQPuRcG-_T-5aMK5
Please let me know what you think of these, and if I will be able to get my account reactivated.
For your reference, here is my current home equipment and software set-up:
- Microphone - Yeti by Blue Microphones (specifications on www.bluemic.com) with DragonPad Pop Filter, Shure Microphone SM7B
- Computer - HP Envy x360 laptop with Bang & Olufsen speakers and AMD Ryzen 5
- Software - Sound Forge Audio Studio 12.6, and Audacity 2.3.3
Also, I have been able to record some of the takes at a studio with the following equipment:
- Microphone - Shure Microphone SM7B
- Computer - Quad-Core Apple iMac
- Software - Studio One 4, and Audacity
Finally, while I have you, please note that I did two takes with my own revisions to the official VoiceBunny/BVS Tagalog script, which sounds very archaic to the modern Tagalog speaker.
I would suggest to please make available both the original English language script as well as the VoiceBunny official translations for your auditioning voice actors.
You would have better luck asking for native writers and speakers like us to dub these lines using language that is comfortable for them (us), but please also be sure to pay them (us) well because some of these languages are highly specialized.
Thank you.

For convenience (each voice file was more than 10 MB), I have cut them into two parts below:
Hello Jocelyn! Thank you for participating in this Community! :-)
First of all, we truly appreciate your time and effort while working on these demos. That's a lot of work!!
So I had a chance to listen to the very first demo (Take 1, Part 1, original script), and here's what I found:
------
[Take 1 Part 1 original script]:
@ 00:00.016 : Please edit out this mouse click noise.
@ 00:00.999 : Please trim down the initial silence (to 500 milliseconds). 5 seconds is way too long.
@ 00:10.418 : Please nicely edit & clean up the background noise here.
@ 00:14.611 : From around here, we notice considerable presence of compression plugin :-( Please use it sparingly ... or better yet, bypass it.
@ 00:21.002 : We hear excessive room reverberation here. Please strategically enforce acoustic treatment of the room.
@ 00:25.568 : Please clean up the background noise
@ 00:30.501 : THis one as well
@ 00:40.725 : Again ... please let the client handle this dynamic processing chore. Besides, our clients are likely equipped w/ more robust set of compressor/limiter plugins anyway.
@ 00:44.177 : Please clean up the background noise
@ 01:13.447 : Mouse click noise ... Please edit this out
------
As you do more & more recordings of your own, the better & easier these editing procedures will become.
Good news is that your equipment (mic, preamp, cables, etc.) sounds A-OK!!! :-D
Best regards,
Oki
