Audition Samples for Review & Getting my account reactivated
Hi,
A few days ago, I sent you a set of auditions that was rejected due to "some strange resonances on certain frequencies". You recommended that I read "Tip # 5 - Basic Acoustic Treatment Is Not Rocket Science, which I did. After reading, I decided that using my Harlan Hogan Porta-Booth-Pro in my recording space (a PVC pipe construction with acoustic blankets) should eliminate this problem. I re-recorded the same scripts for your review and reconsideration. No compression was used on the recordings. I also added "My Moriam" for your listen. That recording represents the standard post production that I use, unless specifically instructed other wise
I apologize if my vocals are a little off since I have a slight cold at the moment
Let me know what you think, and hopefully my account can be reactivated in the very near future
Regards,
Ron

Hi, Ron! Thank you for participating in this Community!
I could not point out notable resonance. Congratulations! :-)
However in all these audio samples I noticed the following:
If you are using a dynamic mic such as Shure SM-7B, you might want to boost the signal with a device like CloudLifter; that will ease the burden of your preamp.
Noise gating is arguably the toughest thing to tweak ... even for seasoned professionals. It'd be much easier to grapple with the white noise issue than dealing with zen & art of plugin tweaking. Besides, our clients are likely equipped with a much more robust set of plugins.
Good sound insulation won't be able to achieve with soft cushy objects such as acoustic foams :-( ... If you live close to a busy city streets then the only choice left for us may be to barricade your windows w/ thick plywood boards (I know this is not aesthetically pleasing but this must be done sometimes)
I hope my comments here helps ... Please let me know. Thank you!
Best,
Oki
Thank you for your earlier review. I worked on these issues, and hopefully the attached recording meets the Bunny Studio quality standards. Please review, and if I meet the standard, please reactivate my account

Hello,
I apologise for the delayed reply :-(((
This audio sounds as if noise gate is applied. Could you please make sure those dynamics-related plugins are bypassed?
Thank you,
Best,
Oki
