Account reactivation
Hello,
Recently, I received word that my account got deactivated due to rejected samples.
Because of that, I would like to provide you with this new sample.
Could you provide me with some feedback on this sample? And if it meets your requirements, reactivate my account?
Thank you very much in advance.

Hi, Josh!
Thank you very much for joining us in this space, we appreciate it. The sample displays some room echo and other issues that are hard to pinpoint without being able to download the file.
Please provide us with a downloadable version of your sample in 44.1K/16-bit WAV format so that we can analyze it properly.
Cheers!

Hi Héctor!
Thank you very much for your reply. I've just enabled the download option for the audio on SoundCloud. You should be able to download the original file from there now, which is a 44.1K/16-bit WAV file.
Looking forward to your reply. Thanks a lot for your help!
Hey, Josh!
Thanks for enabling the download on that sample, that is very useful. I was able to analyze your file in more detail. I noticed some harmonic distortion usually linked to noise reduction processes, as well as some room echo still present in your file. Additionally, the low-frequency spectrum has some saturation that correlates with the harmonic distortion and makes some hard consonants sound close to plosive levels.
Here's the same file, processed with advanced noise suppression and EQ to even out the frequencies, plus automation and normalization to make it punchier without the need for compression or other dynamics processing (which can be a shortcut but also introduce a whole lot of problems in an unbalanced sound).
Take a listen and let me know if you can hear the differences! Also, share with me a picture of your recording space and a list of the gear/plugins used to produce this audio. I'm certain we can help you out in achieving the quality you're capable of 😉
Cheers!
