Hello Kenny! Thank you for participating in this Community! :-)

Unfortunately, this audio still contains considerable plosive issues :-(

Are you giving enough distance between your microphone and pop filter?

Additional quality flaw. You'll need to correct the following:
Stomach growling behind "I expected you have mastered..."

I hope the info above helps. Please let me know! ;-)

    Cheers,
    Oki

I've been keeping about 6 inches away. Do I need more?

I'm sorry but I forgot to ask you ; what type of pop filter are you using?

    I'm using a Nylon Mesh

BTW I use 2 layers of nylon pop filters to record my own voice ;-) ... but even when two pop guards are utilised, I often find plosive issues in my recording.

So in the end you are the one to keep an eye on your own recording quality ;-)

    Cheers,

    Hi Kenny,

Just a comment from another v/o actor. I have not used a pop filter in years. Instead, I place the mic one of two places: either about forehead height aimed down about 30 degrees; or mic off to one side about 30 degrees, still aimed at my mouth area. So while I am still in the sweet spot of the microphone's pickup pattern (I'm on- axis) I am speaking past the capsule, not directly into it. Any plosives I produce go past the capsule rather than into it.

    Perhaps that may help.

    Best regards,

    Joe Brown

Kudos to Joe for his awesome advice!! :-)

Mic placement itself is an artform ... so please experiment.

I just reviewed Kenny's newly patched VO ... while the plosive issue is more or less alleviated, we still hear the stomach growling issue :-( ... Plus, the audio sounds obviously patched (you'll need to execute patch jobs 'inaudible' or 'seamless', as if no patching is done)

    Thank you! ;-)

    Best regards,
    Oki
