Rejected because of accent
I was applying to join Voice Bunny. After recording I sent my audio. Got an email back asking for some editing. I did. Got another email asking for more editing. I did. Then I get an email saying that i was rejected because my 'recording didn't reflect the accent the client asked for.'
WHAT ACCENT?! I am applying for an international company that gets jobs for a variety of accents to be recording for different clients. So why is my North American accent being rejected to join VoiceBunny? This just doesn't make any sense to me.
Here is the final recording:

Can anyone give me a proper explanation?

Hello Forest! How are you?
Thank you very much for reaching out :).

However, sometimes, when reviewing our applications, we focus on telling our pros what they should do in order to improve the quality of their audios and maybe we can accidentally omit the accent they are applying to.
