Rejected because of accent

I was applying to join Voice Bunny. After recording I sent my audio. Got an email back asking for some editing. I did. Got another email asking for more editing. I did. Then I get an email saying that i was rejected because my 'recording didn't reflect the accent the client asked for.'

WHAT ACCENT?! I am applying for an international company that gets jobs for a variety of accents to be recording for different clients. So why is my North American accent being rejected to join VoiceBunny? This just doesn't make any sense to me.

However, sometimes, when reviewing our applications, we focus on telling our pros what they should do in order to improve the quality of their audios and maybe we can accidentally omit the accent they are applying to. I was checking your application and you were applying to the following category:

English - England

This is the reason why your application was denied. The accent was wrong because you indeed have a North American accent. We invite you to apply to the category that fits your accent :).

Regarding the quality of your audio, there are a couple of clicking noises as well as some plosives. Please make sure to edit and remove these noises in order to be able to approve your application.
