Can You Seriously Tell Me How ???
So there is this project that was unrealistic and wanted all these words in under 28 secs.
I did it in 30 secs honestly trimmed out the spaces after saying that they needed it under 28 secs
Here are the two files before and after
The seond time rejected completely for mouth clicking ... any advice to
1. What they are talking about when it comes to mouth clicking noises
2. How on earth anyone would be able to read this under 28 secs
3. If I removed the dead space , does it sound un-natural ??? I was told to get it under 28 secs and that was the only problem
4. Second go around and rejected because un-natural and mouth clicking ... its the same file just shortened ??? Sometimes I feel I cannot win , Am I being unreasonable ???
first submission :

Hi Jacquelyn,
Another v/o actor here who likes to participate in the community - I'm not with VB quality control. It is really frustrating to have a rejection for one reason, address it, then get rejected for a different reason. Not sure why that happened, but here are my thoughts after listening.
I do hear a few mouth clicks, but not many (one example after "is all about" mouth click before the t). There's also a bit of one at the beginning of "Leeds Becket" right as the "L" starts.
The larger problem I believe, is an un-natural pace created by removing the breaths and spaces in order to get time down to :28.
Couple suggestions for future editing:
1] Sometimes just re-take the copy speaking faster. In this example, sounds like you could pick up the pace and make it in :28.
2] Time compression. I don't use it often, and you have to be careful, but sometimes if you have a great read and it's just a tick over time, you can use a small amount of time compression to make up the difference without sacrificing quality or generating audible digital audio artifacts.
3} Flag it! If the copy is so long it's not possible to record in the allotted time, use the feature in the Bunny Studio platform to flag the project. I have done it for this very reason, and clients have shortened the copy.
As a fellow actor, I get the frustration - it happens to all of us. Just one of those things where you accept it, make some adjustments, and move on I suppose.
You have a great voice btw, so keep going,
Joe B.
Hi Jacquelyn, thank you for reaching out.
Hi Joe, great to see you here again!
Honestly... Joe said it all, this is premium feedback right here, I suggest you take his advice into consideration for future projects.
