Feedback needed

I've been struggling a bit in gaining consistency in my recording environment. I believe I've finally found a setup that will allow me to provide more consistent high-quality auditions and samples. Could you check out this sample and provide feedback on the audio quality? I've done everything in the advice articles, so want to see if I've finally found a setup that will consistently work for me. If I need further tweaks, I'll do what I need to do to make this work.

Also, I have been struggling to hear some of the things I've been provided in the Quality Control feedback, such as low-level reverb. Can you also provide some advice so that I can detect things like low-level reverb that may be difficult to hear? I am using monitor headphones, but I may just need to train my ear a bit more.

We are very happy to see how willing you are to improve your work and quality.

There are two minor things to work on this sample:

There is a small background noise right at the start, right when you say "Over"
Acoustics

That last one has to do a bit with the second part of your message.

One of the best things to do here is to compare with others so your ears can have a clear comparison, that's why we chose two samples that you can compare yours to:

With this in mind, we invite you to listen and see if you can spot the difference.

Also, could you try recording a bit closer to your mic and see if that helps a bit?
