booking payment
Hello:
I just completed a booking which was approved by Bunny and is awaiting approval by the client.
The rate of payment is extremely low. Can you please explain why this is so low and if I can negotiate with the client?

Hi Fred,
Thank you for reaching out.
We just checked your profile, comparing the payment to your current rates, it seems like they match what you have there.
Can you take a look at your rates and confirm if those are the ones you're comfortable with?
Johnathan:
Thank you for your prompt response. I answered earlier but I see no record of my reply so I will respond again.
A while ago when I wrote on this platform that I was not getting any invites I was advised to lower my rates, which I did. I also added a number of scripts, and have tagged each of them. I did again start getting invites every day.
With this job for Podium, the rate is simply way too low, as I am sure you recognize. The compensation for a national job like this would be in the thousands. I believe that since this was a booking, it is fair for me to request to negotiate the rate. I think the work is good and Podium would be pleased with the 4 recordings.
Please advise.
Thank you, Fred
I should have added that I will significantly increase my rate schedule on your platform, Thanks. Fred
Hi Fred,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
We want you to know that we want you to be comfortable and happy with your rates, you are free to set them however you want because you are the one who knows how much your work is worth.
That being said, remember that our projects work on a word count basis, and prices don't change depending on the client or the usage, you can read more about it here: How do rights and intellectual property work?
We're glad to know that you changed your rates!
Now, if this is an ongoing project, we recommend you raise a flag and bring your concerns to our CX team, they could reach out to the client and let them know your thoughts as well.
