Your sample is heavily compressed and/or limited. It is affecting the dynamics and quality of the audio. Instead, please raise the volume via automation or normalization to -3dBFS peak

    Hi Markus,

Thank you very much for being a part of our community, we appreciate you being here.

About our Quality Control standards, we take your feedback and will definitely share it with our team. However, it is worth mentioning that theses standards have been set to work globally, as you might imagine, we have clients all over the world, therefore, we have to set the same standards for all of our locations, which might have some conflict with the idea of changing standards based on the country of the client.

We'll also mention our to stop sending you those emails about uploading samples.

Once again, thank you very much for your feedback.

    Hey Johnatan!

Thanks for your quick response. I know, you´ve to take care of all the countries and check all different requirements. Still, all commercials, documentary's and voice overs are edited and mastered. No sample will leave a DAW without compression.

Maybe you can think of a solution considering both issues: "Pure" and "Mastered" samples? Just an idea. :)

    Hi Markus,

That makes a good point, thank you for bringing it up.

However, we want to let you know that many of our Pros do use compression, eq, limiting, noise suppressor, and other processing for that matter, without problems. The issue begins when it is very noticeable and even distracting, or worse, end up affecting your audio.

That being said, we'll bring this feedback to our team for their consideration.

    Thank you very much!

    Hi Johnatan!

I see, but there's nothing distracting or affecting this audiofile. The clip has been aired exactly like this in the German, Austrian and Swiss TV. ;) Have a nice weekend!
