    Hello Lindsey! How are you?

    Hope you are doing great!

I was listening to your sample and it indeed has some QC problems. I can notice a little bit of boxiness, but from my point of view is not that problematic. What I'm really hearing that is indeed super distracting is the hiss/white noise on your audio. Is this a recurrent problem for you? Maybe at the time of the rejection of the sample there was a confusion, as for me the main problem is the hiss/white noise.

If this is the only sample with this issue, I think it could be a matter of how your setup was arranged at the time of the recording. Would you mind uploading a couple of new samples so I can check the quality and see if there are no problems at all?

Hope you have a great week and looking forward to hear from you :)

Hello Gabriel. Thanks for your response regarding the sample I had rejected. They said it was for reverb, and you said it was really a hiss/white noise issue as far as you could tell. I took another pass and got the hiss way down, and I don't hear what to my ears sounds like much in the way of reverb or boxiness. Could you give me please give me your feedback on the attached sample and let me know your thoughts? Does it pass mustard?

    Best, and thanks very much!

    Lindsey

    Hello Lindsey! How are you?

Hope this post finds you well :).

I was listening to your new sample and the hiss/white noise issue indeed improved a lot. However, I'm now listening the previous issue that the QC team told you about the room echo/ reverberations of your room that maybe the hiss was masking before. Good news is that the problem is not severe and that some little adjustments might do the work.

The first thing that comes to my mind is that maybe you could try hanging clothes or linen on the open space to create a 4 wall capsule instead of leaving that open space that might be the cause why there are some reflections of the room being captured by the mic. Do you think this is possible for you?

Please let me know. Looking forward to hear your thoughts about it.

Hope you have a great weekend :).
