Reread sample looking for feedback
Hello. I read the initial audition today and copied an ambient noise sample over my sharp breaths received some not so good feedback over that (totally get it especially if the room doesnt sound good) I also received feedback that I had room echo. I did some room retreating and recorded a new audition. Any feedback before I resubmit would be awesome.

Howdy, I treated a bit more and got a little close on my mic on this one. I have had comments on mouth noise from Bunny Studios QC in the past and so I had been back off of the microphone. I believe that can cause a bit of a reverb.
Any feedback is awesome.

It is a great read! It does have a bit of boxiness to it, these are early reflections being picked up by your mic, sometimes it is caused by having flat surfaces near your recording space, do you think you can check if that's your case, cover those with thick materials as blankets, mats, towels, pillows... and record again for us?
